IMHO Don't learn. Either find someone to run your DNS for you or run it on
another machine which you can update as soon as problems are found.
I have had a RaQ3 hacked through DNS twice 1st time was my stupid fault
and seconed time was through all avaliable Cobalt updates. So now I run my
own of the cobalt and keep it upto date on the latest current stable
version 9.X
