[cobalt-users] Changing address for mailing list

I was having trouble with sending mail to a mailing list I set up, after
reading through the archives I learned enough as to where to go to try the
fix the problem and almost have it but the email address is a little messed
up.

I set up a mailing list called "list" and when I send mail to
list@xxxxxxxxxx I get the following error

from xxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx.xxxx [xxx.xx.xxx.xxx]

unknown mailer error 2

but if I use an email address of list_site6@xxxxxxxxxx it seems to work no
problem, What I want to do is to be able to send mail to just
list@xxxxxxxxxx without the site6 info. Where should I look to change this?
