Wow... good directions!!
>The example above uses .shtml files (server side include HTML files, which are found at the web root level of the site (....web/).<<
Stoopid question numba' one... the .shtml files would be on which side of ...web/ ? (showing ignorance of term "root of web") I guess what I mean.. within web, where the site's index.shtml file and all subsequent files are located (I use SSI so main page is .shtml) or in the level where I'd be looking at the folders web/logs/users etc.... ?
Sorry for detailed "stoopid" question but I'm still learning and making sure we're right / left of the slash makes me more comfy...
VERY explicit directions and thank you!
>There - I've done my good deed for the day - any idea on my RAQ3 that's playing up? - anyone?!?!?<<
Ouchy! Read that one... hoping you did not get the dreded buggers in there messing with something!! When I got hacked, nothing stopped working, with the exception of telnet, which seems to have had a fake version set in place that would not allow login..
Only sign we had of hack till trying to telnet in was DNS server went down...
GOOD LUCK!! And THANKS again!!
