Don't know.

Err... sendmail *is* an SMTP server. You don't want it to send mail,
turn it off. Then turn on sendmail on the other server. That being said,
however, somewhere in everything I've read about sendmail is the idea of
using another SMTP server as a "smart relay," which I think is when your
sendmail sends *everything* to that other server and hopes that the
other server can actually distribute it around the Internet.
