Take the disk out of the server and install it in another computer that
has only a 3 1/2 floppy. Get a single disk linux like.....

and make the disk(s) and boot it up and make changes to the disk as
necessary.... I would suggest you look at the /boot directory
[admin admin]$ ls /boot/
System.map
vmlinux.gz
make sure they are there.... look for errors in the mesage files too....
