Ahw, does it take *that* long to load the restore cd? ;-)

Thanks a lot. :-)
I learned a lot by sort of leeching lists, wandering thru mail archives,
catching up on Usenet and what have you. Most all of my knowledge is based
on other people's utterings and expanding their thoughts. Therefore, I see
no reason not to share that knowledge.
One of the greatest things of being wrong is someone correcting you and
pointing out where exactly you're wrong: this means you've learned. A list
like this one provides that kind of 'corrections', often with a smile. I
think it's a great service from Cobalt/Sun, even though I am on a 24h+ lag
right now. [grin]
So I'm not going to go around bashing Cobalt and/or Sun. I personally think
it's great that some Sun employees actually take the time to read and
respond to what's going on in here. I have done similar things in the past
while working for the support department of an ISP. I was flamed and bashed
several times for posting and just gave up in the end. I'd hate that to
happen to these people from Sun, so I applaud them for it. Criticism is
healthy, bashing and flaming is terrible and destructive, IMHO.
Weren't it for great people like Linus Torvalds, Richard Stallman and Eric
S. Raymond - to name just a few ;-> - and you guys and gals out there (I
have actually picked some *very* cool stuff up in just a matter of a few
weeks!), I wouldn't be where I am right now. In business and having fun
doing it!
So thanks again, this was my "personal expression time" and I promise to be
on topic soon.
Have a good one... Nico
