Where were you in your directory structure when you did this command? Only
the files in that folder and below it should have been affected - but if you
were at the pure root of the system (/), wowser...
Do you have a RaQ3 or a RaQ4 (so that we know which directory structure to
give you should you need it).

If you're in the shell and it's working right now, don't log out. Not that I
think it won't let you back in, but just to be safe. Wait until you're sure
things are fixed before you possibly lose the shell you've got.
