This is the Active Monitor check which takes place every 15 minutes.
Solutions re Logcheck
1. Now you know what it is - ignore it. (fills up email inbox - bah!)
2. <sledgehammer> Disable the cron job for active monitor </sledgehammer>

3. What I did was to add "127.0.0.1 as an ignore item in Logchecks ignore
files. (This -might- be dangerous in not spotting real hacking attempts -
if any of you wizards could comment - blessings )
