Via the GUI, you can forward mail for the "admin" user. I do not know,
however, if this user also gets root mail.
Via a command prompt, you can edit the /etc/aliases file to direct
root's mail to another user (your email address). Then remember to run
the newaliases command after you finish editing so the system will
incorporate your changes into the running system.
This is not difficult. However, if you make a mistake you will
temporarily break your mail service so always take it seriously. If you
have doubts on how to do this, don't touch it until you're sure you know
what you're doing, and then go read the man pages for the aliases file
so that you'll know what you're doing.
And for God's sake, make a backup of the file always.
