Hello User List! I am new to the list and I am not a very good at
maintaining servers, much less Linux boxes. I have been receiving the user
mailing and reading anything about the Qube 2 for a couple months. But I do
need a little help and you guys know quite a bit!
I have looked through the archives for information on this problem and could
not find anything specific (mind you I may have missed it). We are using a
Qube 2 as an email server and host for a Web site (we are non-profit and do
not have money to separate the two). I keep receiving this message from the
server:
username is using 85.1% of the disk space allocated on the Cobalt server.
Users are only allowed to keep a certain amount of data in their account on
the server; once that quota is filled, no more data can be stored.
I do not mind receiving this message if the user was actually using the
space. I made sure email was cleared, I FTP'd into the server to look at
the user folder and there is nothing there except the files that are
standard with each user (/private, Network Trash and index.html). I cannot
find another file in the directory. I know I should look at some other file
on the server, but I have no idea where to look. I am just looking for a
little hint of what to look for. Even if it is blatantly obvious to you
guys.
Thanks!
