How would one go about making a cert for themselves and then install it.
The GUI seems to make it pretty easy to enable SSL but without a cert
installed it does not work..
Wayne, and the answer is: RTFM. :-)
On the SSL Settings page, one fills in the form on the top and selects
"Generate sel-signed certificate".
Also... if this is done on a name based, single ip server.. does this
affect the virts on the RaQ if the cert is installed in the base domain
for the RaQ (server is RaQ3)
Not really. Unless someone types https://www.virt-domain.tld/
Of course, you cannot generate certs for sites hosted on a name based-one
IP configuration.
