The GUI seems to make it pretty easy to enable SSL but without a cert
installed it does not work..

This is simple - it's actually detailed in the manual (on page 101 on my raq
3 version). If you go to the site settings for the base domain for the Raq
and enable SSL first, you then click on the SSL settings, input the Country,
State, Locality, Organization and Organizational Unit and then select
'generate self signed certificate' from the drop down box below and hit
'Save changes'.
Whenever you go to the base domain and click on the "server admin" link it
will call the GUI through https. Voila! Simple pimple...it worked for me!).
