This is just my opinion but posting/bragging about this kind
of thing may result in far more problems than you can handle.
Particulary if the machine is not hacked or was not attempting to
exploit your server. IP addresses can be spoofed. It is possible
that the IP address you posted is assigned to an innocent party who
may take offense over this kind of thing. If it was a hacker, odds
are the box was exploited and is only being used for launching
attacks by someone who probably won't be found but who just might be
monitoring this list.

Who's bragging? We (some of us in this group)share "rouge" IP's to add to
our deny list all the time.
If the owner of this box does happen to subscribe to this group I am sure
she/he would like to know. Outgunned that I agree with you. All I can do is
listen and learn on how to lock my box down as much as possible and keep my
back-ups current. I too learned the hard way, my box was cracked because I
never took the time to properly secure my box. I respect your opinion, I
just happen to agree to disagree :o)
