This is just my opinion but posting/bragging about this kind
of thing may result in far more problems than you can handle.
Particulary if the machine is not hacked or was not attempting to
exploit your server. IP addresses can be spoofed. It is possible
that the IP address you posted is assigned to an innocent party who
may take offense over this kind of thing. If it was a hacker, odds
are the box was exploited and is only being used for launching
attacks by someone who probably won't be found but who just might be
monitoring this list.
I've been doing this a long time. The one firm rule I have
is "never open mouth and insert foot". Trust me, it doesn't matter
how good an admin you are, how secure your box is or who you know.
You're out gunned in this arena. They have more time than you, they
have nothing to loose and lots to gain (hack a server, get busted,
get big bucks from a security firm and get on TV).
This is just my opinion, mind you, but it's based on some
hard won and very costly experiance.
