I absolutely see what you are saying.  And I agree with you to an extent.
We do use our own hardware to run things within the company.  For the
longest time, Cobalt was serving mail for its 300 users off a Qube1 that
was the 4th to come off the production line.  We outgrew it and went to
a RaQ3.

We use our products all over the place here, but when it comes to down 
to it, we use what makes sense for the job.  Now granted, we aren't
going out to the competition to buy our web servers.  ;)
