Well, not really, i mean, ponder, what would be worse, using someone elses
product to provide a working service that noone pays much attention cause
it works, or using your own product when it's not capable of the task, and
having everyone go 'wow, that product much be junk, look at how much it
barfs and pukes'...

I think MS has proven this theme several times over ;0

MS dns doesn't run on NT servers at ms headquarters lol

I'd bet if you look in dell's mis department you would find a few pieces
of non-dell hardware tho, i doubt they make routers .. yet -/

Cobalt never marketed the raq/etc as mass email servers, they make no
claims they could handle say 60k subscribers ;)

The fact that some folks seem to be able to manage to do that is only
testament to the fact that some folks are as clever as they are cheap -/

Yes, but i think using the right tool for the job shows more sense than
using your own tool just to brag that you have it. Does a company that
makes hammers use a hammer to put in screws?

(ok, just cause *i* use a hammer ;)
