Hello all,
Not that this email will ever make it to the list, but what
the hey!
I edited /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf by hand yesterday in
order to change the "default virtual site" on an ip, and my
changes went smoothly... and everything appears to be
working everywhere EXCEPT the virtual site list in the
administration screen.
(cause I know this question is coming) In httpd.conf, the
<VirtualHost> directives ARE visible, although there are
several pages of blank lines before them... not sure why
I see that in order to repair the virtual site list, I am
expected to run
/usr/admserv/cgi-bin/.cobalt/siteList/siteList.cgi - but
when I Attempt to do that, it asks me a question about
name/value pairs. I have no idea how to use siteList.cgi, it
isn't really clear from the archives - I did see a post that
said to type "group=site1" or something like that, and I
PRESUME I am supposed to type (verbatim)
group=site1
group=site2
group=site3
group=siten
Ctrl-D
Can someone give me the low-down on what this program is
actually doing, or at least how to use it?
Also, what the heck is /etc/admserv/conf/httpd.conf ?
By the time this makes it to the list, I'll probably be
retired or dead, so any expediency in your reply will be
greatly appreciated, on the off chance that it's still an
issue ...
Thanks!
