Subject: [cobalt-users] Clarification on SSH access
Can a enlighten one can respond...
I'm a little bit confuse with the SSH access to the Raq.
First I install the folowing pkq:
OpenSSH Client Release 2.1.1p2
OpenSSH Server Release 2.1.1p2
Second I do to the GUI , control panel and un check Telnet Server (disable
it )
then with a SSH Client let say PuTTY I access my server (on Port 23) with
admin user id / pw
Are this steeps correct ???
I done that but.... unless "Telnet is enable on the Control Panel... is a
NO GO...
I was under the impression that the idea of installing SSH was to disable
the Telnet, if this is not the case, then why bother ???
TIA
Carlos
