You must be reading a different list. (Perhaps that's why you constantly top
post. ;-)) I've seen tons of helping on this list for free.
Knowledge is free on this and other lists. The amount of time it would take
someone to do anything other than share their knowledge, however, deserves
to be compensated. I'm not sure why you think that someone who has taken
years of their life to become expert at Linux/Cobalt servers doesn't deserve
to be paid for that knowledge and time. I don't know any auto mechanics that
will look under the hood of your car and tell you how to fix it for free.
