I hope you really mean "behind" a firewall, and not "on a machine also
running a firewall".  And be sure to pay a security firm to try to break
in.  The latter is very important if you're going to keep your system at
home.  It's been my experience that networks serving home users (both
cable and dsl) are actually attacked more than any other networks. 
Crackers expect these users' system to be less secure.
