Vijay,
While your idea is a good one, I would point out that taking a backup
once you're back into your machine" skips by a VERY IMPORTANT POINT:
You should have that backup already. Ideally, if your machine gets
hacked the *only* thing that you might lose if you restored from CD
immediately is the mail queue and spool files and any changes made to
customers' websites over the last couple of hours.
Always have several backups at hand, with at least one full plus
incrementals stored off-site.
