I agree on this point. We did not purchase it, we should not expect it.
I think a majority of the disgruntlement/frustration is on features that
were included but, do not work or have bugs that do not have patches
provided in a timely manner.

Agree...BUT we shoudl also expect that updates, like the last bind update
REALLY instals when the gui says it is...
DANG today one of our machines got hacked...3 days after we rebuilt it
It started when we could not add new users ( passwd file is locked)..removing
the locks in /etc/locks did nto work..after poking around yep EVEN though
the gui says we installed the latest bind patch.... it REALLY did not install
from now on use rpm -QA |grep bind to see what version your running
good luck ( how the hell am I going to say to the customers.....we got
our pants ripped of again...)
One thing we are doing now...NO MORE bind on ANY cobalt....we have a few HP's
where we can run the dns...one machine for the DNS..hell let them hackinto
there....no website will be in jeaopardy then....we can ven take the DNS box
ofline anduse the 2ndary while we rebuild, they wont know
