Shon,
First, with the RaQ4s, there was an issue with the .htaccess files. Make
sure you've got the update that clears that up installed on your box.
Second, doing this site by site is painstaking and takes up your time. Why
not just set this as a default in srm.conf?
/etc/httpd/con/srm.conf
Scroll down to where you'll see ErrorDocument and make changes as necessary.
Make sure to backup the file first, and restart httpd afterwards.
