Recently the RAQ3i I administer was attacked (I assume) and telnet was
trashed (by someone supstituting xlogin for login)and as a result I'm
wanting to just run through the OS Restore, I have the CDs, I've done it
before on a qube, but I'm wondering how in the world to backup all the
users/password and data, then restore them once I've got the server back up
again (since the OS Restore formats the hard drive). Is the
Maintance>Backup tool built into the Raq3i cabale of this? (and on another
note, if I restored from that would it bring back the problems I was having
before?).
I need a solution to get telnet back in an operational status, and not
retain all users/password/data from the system as it is now. Help, I don't
usualy beg but I am none the less :)
