ignoring those hosts in your portsentry.ignore file
will solve that problem too.

Just a little warning to those *testing* portsentry out on their RaQ on
their local network with WindowsNT/2000 systems on the same subnet:

Make sure you remove UDP ports 137 and 138 from the UDP_PORTS= line in the
portsentry.conf file. I learnt this the hard way as all my Windows boxes
were entered into the hosts.deny file without my intervention as NetBIOS
went on its merry way:

137    NETBIOS-NS    NetBIOS name service
138    NETBIOS-DGM   NetBIOS datagram service

At least I know how to boot into single user mode now :-)
