This is incorrect behavior. Do you have "accept mail for domain"
checked?
If you don't, then you've got a configuration problem; have you played
with any of your RaQ configuration files?
Have you read "sendmail" the O'Reilly book for an understanding of how
the various files work?
We could fix this as a project if you're interested, but based on what
you've written so far I can't give you any quick answers.
