OK, for many months (years) we have been doing weekly backups of our raq servers using the backup utility on the RAQ3 servers we are using.
Tonight, one of the servers died and we pulled another, Raq3 off the shelf. I installed all the same patches as the original one had and tried to restore the sites using the last backup.
It will not restore!
What the heck is going on? Why include a restore util if it doesn't? If we knew that it couldn't restore the websites, we would have found something that would.
The restore file makes it up to the server (we are on a 100Mbs link) and restores, but the only files that seem to restore are those in directories that are already there. Any directory that is not present (all the websites for example) don't get created and the files are not restored.
Any help would be appreciated. Please post directly to me if you have any suggestions. cdorman@xxxxxxxxx
Thanx.
