Well, I sure like the Qube 3, but I like to keep it current with new
versions of Apache, PHP and MySQL. Lately I wanted to download the Zend
Cache but it does not work with the version of PHP that comes with the Qube.
I managed to put a newwer PHP on it but that screwed up the browser
interface into it. Really that's OK with me because most of the crap I do
for my clients is through telnet anyway.
Problem? Well, it runs slower now even with 256M of RAM. I really don't care
why because what I want to do is just erase the Cobalt Linux on it and throw
in RedHat Server and make do with telnet or ssh.
Is this possible? What do I have to do to do it? Can I just hook up a CDROM
and go to town or will something screw up? Sure would like some input on
this....
