[cobalt-users] Re: RAQ4 - Email server aliases keeps disappearing from site settings?

Are you referring to the control panel > email > alias settings?

I had a similar problem with the relay IPs I was using for trusted
clients prior to installing POP-before-relay on the RaQ4. I would put in
an IP, then come back and it wouldn't be there. Or, periodically, they'd
all disappear. What cleared it up was creating a new virtual domain,
which seemed to "reset" it.

However, this problem could not be identified by Cobalt .. and it went
into the black hole during their purchase by Sun. It seems to have been
fixed with the OS 1.0 update, and the pre-requisite security fixes to
install that. I have OS6 on my RaQ4, with the 1.0 update, and only the
"essential" security updates (I often wait to see if a new one
supercedes a funky one).

There was no "fix" that Cobalt had ... so, hopefully if you install the
1.0 update it will go away. If your problem is in the "alias" box (below
the mail relay), then the 1.0 update is supposed to fix that, too.

See the Cobalt support > downloads > RaQ4 page.

Hope that helps.

Chris
