[cobalt-users] Replacing a harddisk in a RaQ 4R

Hello,

I need to replace a failed harddisk in a RaQ 4R. The RaQ manual says it has
to be a 5400 rpm - Ultra ATA/33 harddisk, no further specifications. I'm not
sure if the new harddisk has to be *exactly* the same as the other (old)
harddisk for the RAID functionality to work?

Also, It's kinda strange that when the manual says 'Ultra ATA/33' harddisk,
Cobalt places a Quantum Fireball lct10 harddisk ATA/66 in it as standard
configuration.. Problem is, that the Fireball lct10 is not available anymore
in stores. Can anyone advise what to do? Warranty is void on the RaQ as I'm
the second owner.

Thanks,

Jeroen
