Don't forget...you're also paying for the famous "30-30" support
(30 seconds or 30 feet, whichever occurs first)
If they are up an coming they'll do what we used to in distribution...when
our techs couldn't figure out if a unit was really defective, we shipped
it to one of our more astute customers....figuring that if it was really
bad, they would either eliminate the problem or call us and say that the
frammersnack sub-assembly was defective.
Then, you must consider that the company may have a policy of issuing
updates(fixes, enhancements, etc.) that don't work the first time, so it
costs them money to correct what they broke.
So, cut the guys some slack...they're just trying to be like "The Big
Guys."
