You know, that's a funny thing but I don't think it is server
related...perhaps...anywho......it seems alot of dial up providers are not
allowing smtp calls outside their own mail port to block spammers...I know
for a face verizon/GTE have filters in place as I have one account that I
can send with to my box and one that won't (server not found after a
wait).....there are others that I have had this happen with according to my
clients on my box.......try a ping/tracert and see if you can get to the
SMTP or if you only configure using the domain name the ping it....if you
get a response via http and tracert but not when trying to send mail then
the dial up is prolly doggin' ya.....
