Safer to su to the user name if you know his/her password. If not,
first su to root, then immediately to the username, which won't require
the user's password. The less you actually do as root the better.

Original issue :
When I FTP to the server im not able to read/delete the mailboxes in the spool.
How to do that, do I need to Telnet to the server to do that ?
If I need to FTP might someone let me know the needed commands and
maybe an description how to do that. Im very fresh in telnet.
Thanks for all the respons on this post, I learned a lot of Telnet. The kick I
needed to get started. Only one thing is left for me in this problem.
That is how to do this accesable with FTP, do it possible and restet again.
If I tranfers mailfolders from another Linux server will they be good in the cobalt.
