For my RaQ3i it makes sense to put the email boxes in /home, since /var
is on a 198 megabyte partition, and /home is on an 11 gigabyte
partition; see my df output:
[admin@joshua admin]$ df
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1 743466 496769 246697 67% /
/dev/hda3 198601 11405 187196 6% /var
/dev/hda4 11181087 1305520 9875567 12% /home
[admin@joshua admin]$
When I lay out linux systems, I put a lot more space into the /var
partition.
