[cobalt-users] mysql.sock

I've been having problems moving the mysql.sock to another(more secure)
directory with the mysql server falling over itself every time the /tmp dir
is emptied by cron. I have tried editing my.cnf to put mysql.sock into the
location that I want which it did but then mysql cannot find mysql.sock as
it still looks into the /tmp/ dir?
