RE: [cobalt-users] slow email

I have had the very same thing .. on and off through out the day I have
times where the mail will POP very very slowly and even say the server is
not available .. however its there via the www .. sending can take a long
time as well on and off .. Hope someone has an idea .. I have over 250 megs
on a RaQ3i with less than 20 sites doing nothing ..

The cpu load average is .08. Memory usage at 28%. The Raq is being
used for low traffic applications. That is why I don't understand
the timeouts.

Check CPU usage? Check memory usage?

You might want to set your mail software's line length a little
shorter,
too (around 72 characters); it makes quoting your text when replying
much easier than shown above, to something like:
