I read that...didn't do it as all the sites have cgi on...but, it makes
sense if some don't.

Well, if the cobalt thing-a-ma-bob that creates the file appends
stuff, then there's no problem. Perhaps their magic goes
read the conf file...if an addition, append, if a change, look for
specific item changed and re-write just that item.
