You're right of course, but it's just an opinion. I don't share the
opinion. That doesn't mean I wouldn't want to see it hapen, only that I
don't think it will.
I've been following all aspects of this business since the 60s, and I'm
often a pretty good prognostigator (that's a UF graduate who
prognosticates <smile>). In fact it was late 97 when I said publicly in
a column I was writing that the upcoming version of NT would end up
being called Windows 2000. Really.
I don't see Sun going quickly into putting the gui onto their Sun-named
boxes. I might be wrong, of course.
