I didn't write it. Cobalt did. Did you miss their copyright?

Cobalt calls theirs ntpdate.auto; it's at /etc/cron.daily/ntpdate.auto.
I call mine ntpupdate.hourly; it's at
/etc/cron.hourly/ntpupdate.hourly. You can calls your's anything you
want (in fact you can even call it late-for-dinner <smile>).

No idea. It's copied. I don't even know why I put in the header that I
did; I guess because I had to remove the line "Configured through the
administrative web interface"; I could have just changed it to "be sure
to recopy from /etc/ntpdate.auto after changing the time-server in the
administrative web interface". I have no idea why I didn't. I guess it
looks like I'm taking credit for doing almost no work at all, except
moving it. I shouldn't have done it that way, I suppose, but afterall,
I never expected anyone but me to see it anyway <smile>.

It sure is.
