I'm wondering what's libnet? I'm attempting to add DBI/Perl support to an
mySQL install, and Brian Curtis offered some great details on how to
from memory libnet is a bundle of perl libraries that use and help you
>>use tcp/udp sockets, including the likes of LWP, net::ftp, etc etc
You're right! Upon a little further checking I discovered that CPAN *didn't*
update libnet after-all... It <CPAN> has a built-in checking facility <at
this point anyway> to keep you from entering incorrect values when updating
libnet... Since I skipped this, it simply left the old libnet.so in place...
It still sits on the box time/date stampped with all the others in /i386 as
Jun 3 99.. :)
Just FYI if anyone should pull this archive down the road and need to know,
libnet.so is stored in:
/usr/jre1.2/lib/i386/libnet.so
Cheers!
Craig Napier
