Re: [cobalt-users] Completely OT: Thank you all

Carrie, I (for one) don't see "the likes of *you* every day!!
Reasons for this are explained as follows: ("snips" abound and are not
necessarily indictated)

"No Harm, No Foul" IMO. You say "thank you" by continually posting help to
those in need of help, inspirational posts like this in the middle of a
melee, and numerous other intangible contributions also.

You more than deserve it IMO, read above as to why. :-)

Well, I now have to admit to total surprise. It's a slashcode
implementation! I am TOLD (I'm not a perl "junkie" or even perl "user")
that it's hellishly hard to port all that code to your own site! In your
case, you have molded slashcode to your own individual site concept
wonderfully well. In the argot of today's world; "You Go Girl!"

Views are views, that's why it's *your* site! <guffaw>
<personal opinion on editorial content>
BTW, I agree with some of the seminal issues you have eloquently weighed
in on.
</personal opinion on editorial content>

Just a quiet thought fellow esteemed list members. The above site is chock
full of current content. (like it or not, believe me, that's not the
issue) Carrie, you are one prolific and prodigious writer. Your mind must
be overflowing with things that "need to be said" almost constantly!!!
In addition, let's add (IIRC) "Mom" "Web Host" "Business Person" "List
helper" (contributor of list help) "uber coder". You make your time
"count" and bless you for it!!!!!!!!

Personally (and this is NOT O/T folks, THIS is testimony to the caliber
and comittment of people who post to this list!!!) my hat is respectfully
off to you. If I knew 0.25% of what you know, I could go work in my "dream
job" of sysadmin (kinda) in an ISP instead of having to labor at the forge
in a job that life prepared me for, but my heart tells me to "go chase my
dream" elsewhere and apart from what I seem obliged to (and chained to) do
what I *must* apparently do each day. Albeit, with less affection as these
days roll past.

Regards,
Colin
