the file is received as text and sent as text only I have tried a few ways
even copying the total text to a new email I did see that someone said to
put EOF on the last line but still it gets this error - I got a client who
has used majodomo before and he gets the same
Andrew,
Telnet into the file /usr/local/majordomo/config.parse.pl
Search for the line
'restrict_post', '#!"$list"', # Like -I in resend
If it reads exactly like the above, THAT is the problem with your
first error. As I said earlier today, you can go in through Telnet
and 1 -- either hack the file (without guarantee that it won't affect
the GUI's functioning) or 2 -- edit the list's config file manually.
If you choose the former, the hack would be to change the above line to
'restrict_post', '#!"$baselist"', # Like -I in resend
It DOES fix the first error (that's obvious) but again, I haven't
tried it and so have no idea what else it will end up doing.
Personally, I telnet in and make the changes myself.
Alfredo
