Mike,
Try doing a search for "15 steps to installing mysql on a raq4" in the
archives.
I think I put detailed instructions on how to uninstall the package in
there. The uninstall may not work properly since you've ripped out stuff
manually, though, or because it never installed all the way - but it's worth
a shot.
