Actually, I think it's a Netscape bug. Someone pointed out there's a default
setting in a .conf for text/html for unknown file types. Netscape's problem
is it won't process it unless there's a proper MIME type set.

Most admins are aware of this now, but I remember not long ago having to
find the info for an admin on setting the proper MIME type so a .mid file
would play in Netscape that played just fine in IE. It used to be a common
question in the newsgroups of "Why won't my MIDI file play in Netscape?"
