According to the specs, this is a RAID 5 implemented through software,
but "each drive has its own independent master channel to allow high
performance without extra RAID hardware" ....:-(
Also, IMHO, being able to make RAID 5 and being able to access the
drives from the front panel is nice... but these drives don't look
like being hot-swappable ... which would confirm them not being SCSI
(I've never heard of IDE hot-swap, but I may be wrong)
