On the contrary, other than the acknowledged delays
from rackshack.net, I'm supposed to condem them for
an unfinished website...?

"Crucify" is a good analogy, and that was my point:
it could have been handled much more tactfully.

I did review their website, but as they will not be
operational until February 1, 2001, I can't assume
that this was the finished product.

And while the intent may have been honorable, I think
it's somewhat premature to be blacklisting these guys.
Until (if) they actually do something to warrant it.

Carrie's frustration (in perhaps waiting) was obvious,
and perhaps this issue was made a tad more personal
than it ought to have been (for all concerned).

"pompous twit" aside, no apology is necessary. :)

I stand by my comments, though, if at the very least
to simply point out that there are always two sides
to every situation, and that we all shouldn't be so
easy to jump to conclusions.
