[cobalt-users] Certs, revisited

I made a few errors in posts over the last few days, and I've since done
some research, and had other research brought to my attention. Here's
some of the things I've learned:

The Thawte sites WILL create 128-bit encrypted sessions with 128-bit
browsers. They also sell a more expensive "Super Cert" that will create
128-bit encrypted sessions with most browsers that don't otherwise
support 128-bit encryption.

The Tucows certs will most likely NOT be two-step certs, but they will
probably be more expensive than Equifax certs, even at wholesale.

Equifax has supplied me with a private website where my customers may
order their $99 certs for $68. They've NOT authorized me to make the
site public. But I will be happy to send the information to you (you
are my customer, right <smile>?), if you write me OFFLIST. Onlist
replies will NOT get you the address.

Please note that if you make use of the site, your contract is with
Equifax and NOT with me. I take no repsonsibility for your satisfaction
or dissatisfaction with Equifax certs. I just pass the website url on
to you as a favor.
