It could be a run-away CGI script too. I have a client that runs the UBBS
software
and when he had a config problem initially it was spawning processes that
were using
all of my available CPU cycles. I killed all the UBBS threads running and
notified
him to not use those scripts until he found out what the problem was. He
discovered
some type of configuration issue and after he fixed that my CPU usage
problems went
away.
