I have had PHP installed for quite a while and all scripts I have loaded in
the past work fine. BUT I just hooked up with a gent who has a brand new
script using a combo of CGI & PHP & it's giving me fits getting it working
on my RaQ2.
Mike, I think we need more info to even recommend a place to take
this. There are so many possibilities to what is going wrong. There's
a superb PHP mailing list but who knows if PHP is the problem?
First off, what do you mean by a combo of cgi and php? You mean this
is a php file that also CALLS a cgi script written in Perl?
What does the script actually do and what kinds of calls does it make to what?
What errors does it return and what "kind" (cgi or PHP?)
And what kind of directory structure is involved (for instance, are
there datafiles in some directory other than the one the script is
in)?
This is NOT necessarily an off-topic question, by the way. This COULD
be a problem specific to your Linux, Apache, Perl or PHP
configurations (could even be a sendmail problem in some scripts) but
that depends on what the thing actually does. Let us know and maybe
we can help or recommend a good place to go.
