You can name it anything you wan't. It's typically a machine name, and
I don't host anything on the main site. You can use your name, one of
your kid's names, etc.
Be sure to have both a DNS record in the domain for it, and be sure that
you or your ISP (whoever is hosting your reverse DNS) has a record for
IP# pointing back to it.

If your ISP isn't doing your primary DNS, then yes, you do.
